B. F. Grady Middle School

Today was day one of my Duplin County camp. There are 6 different middle schools at this camp and we are all in one big auditorium! I have my own team this week, which is really nice because I can teach what I want and how I want to! There are 9 staff members here counting myself and we all have a bet on who's team is the worst! Its sad I know but all the teams are really really bad! Like the worst cheerleaders I have seen, and that's saying a lot cuz It's seen a good amount of really bad cheerleaders!
I have a middle school called BF Grady MS. first of all that's a lot of letters to say in one cheer let alone a chant! ( Yell BFGMS) I'm pretty sure my girls are going to win the bet for the worst team here! However they are all pretty sweet (considering the fact that their all 12) and they are pretty hard workers. So hopefully I will have better camps in the future but at least my girls aren't all brats! I was lucky with that because most of the other teams here are full of mean little girls! haha! So I will be spending the rest of my night making up a whole new dance because all of our current material is too hard for my team!

Fayettevile 4th Ward!

Today I attended the the Fayetteville 4th Ward! It was So great to go to church!! I forget how much I really love going to church! The people were all so nice and the talks were really great. I really hope that I can go again! I was even able to get there and back in the big company suburban that has no AC (mind you its like 10000 degrees here) without getting lost! That was a huge accomplishment because I get lost in Bellingham all the time! The best thing about it was it just the same as church at home , I know it would be but still everything was in the same order and it was great! The Bishop talked with a really heavy southern drawl too, that was cool.

Coin Laundry!!

I did coin laundry for the first time this morning!! It was quite the experience! Kelsie and I put our stuff together and it was 2 dollars to wash and 1 50 to dry them. We sat in the launder mat for about two hours but the human watching was excellent!

On The way to DC I saw the Washington DC Temple! This is the view of the Temple form the freeway! i have also seen a LDS church building in every town that I have stayed in! I haven't been able to go because of all the traveling but it is still cool to see that they are everywhere!

Neat and Tidy

One thing that i have learned about myself so far this summer is that i am a neat and tidy person. I think I am almost obsessive about having all my stuff put away and clean. Today i was trying to find something cute to wear so I was throwing all my clothes everywhere, instead of just shoving everything back in my two bags I had to dump everything out, fold it all and organize everything. I could have just left it but it was driving me nuts! Anyway the real point of this story is that messy people drive me nuts too!! I am sharing a room with three other girls that all have more stuff than I do! One of the girls that i have become good friends with already is nice and clean, but the other two girls are really super mess and have a ton of stuff!! Its like I know we are traveling for nearly three months but they brought enough stuff to last them 6 or 7 months! Its crazy! and they can never find what they are looking for. Lucky for me I don't have that problem, I have all my moms organizing skills.
So kind of a pointless post but I'm board, If you want to leave a comment about what you want to hear about I will be less boring!

Hello Everyone!!

Ok since I'm sooo faraway this summer i decided to try this whole blogging thing. I still have myspace but all my "older friends" don't have one of those.
I have been on the east cost since the day i graduated! i started in Fayetteville North Carolina and was there for one week for staff training. on Saturday the 7th me and three other girls drove to West Virginia. the next day (Sunday) we drove to Indianapolis Indiana. On monday the 9th we drove to Chicago! I staffed my first summer camp at Prospect High School. the camp was two days, Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday we drove for Chicago to St. Louis MO!!!
Friday was our "free day" so we went to Six Flags!! It was really fun! and that night we went to The Arch! Way Cool!!
Saturday the 14th Laynie and I flew from St. Louis to Philadelphia where another staff member picked us up and took us to Washington DC. that night we stayed at Angela's house and she took us to Down Town DC for the night!
