Im Still Alive.. barely

Hi everyone, I know that I haven't been on for a really long time so I'll try to fill you in on my life. After I got done with my summer camps on Aug 15 I flew home! We spent a few days with grandma and grandpa, it was really nice to visit them. After they left Paul, Lisa, Breeanne, and Brady came up to see us. We had a great week doing all that there is to do in B-ham. After they left I only had a few more days left till it was time for me to head to Idaho for school. On my very last Sunday I had to give a talk in sacrament! Can you believe that! but it went well. On Monday and Tuesday I got all my stuff packed up and ready to go. On Wednesday the 3rd my mom and I drove all the way to Rexburg Idaho. It took us about thirteen hours! But i got to drive through the Canyon so that was cool! Thursday and Friday was all registration and getting moved in. And because I am so lucky I got the worst possible roommates!!! They are so far beyond normal and I can hardly stand it. They are the complete opposite of me in every single way! So I am pretty bummed about that. My mom left Friday afternoon so I was on my own! Saturday was a lot more orientation stuff but I met some other girls that are nice and normal. Sunday I met my new ward and it's pretty weird cuz there's no kids or family's or old people!! And worst of all NO CUTE GUYS!!! I think I'm going to die out here! Mondays classes went pretty well and I worked out at the gym for a long time.. and still NO CUTE GUYS. Tuesdays classes went well too all my teachers are nice. Today I changed my eng 101 class to an eng 315 class because I am completely nuts. But I'm pretty sure I can handle it. Well, I have to go for now
cuz I have math in 15 min.. but I'll be back soon to tell you all about my so far dull college experiences.

HI everyone! Sorry its been so long since I posted last. Here's an update on what I've been up too. Alright, after I left the scary hotel in East Bladen NC Kelsie and I went to Monroe NC for another camp. It was pretty good we got to stay in a nice hotel and the coach was great, the girls however were lazy and had some serious attitude's! Oh well. So after Monroe we drove to Gordonsville Virginia and stayed with the Archer Family! It was so nice to be with them! It was like having a little piece of home for a night! Chloe even remembered me! Anyway after staying with them we drove to Milford PA and stayed at Kelsie's house for the weekend. (Kelsie is the other ltd staff that I have been and will be working with all summer, and one of my new best friends!) Her family is super nice and her dad is just like my dad! It's really funny! We had a really fun weekend. On Saturday we visited West Point ( the military academy) and saw Wall-E. On Sunday we went wave running on the Hudson River~~~ It was super cool! Now I am in South Glen Falls New York, (way north). So other than some scary weather its been a good week! I think that's all the good stuff : ) May the Force Be With You!

We made it out alive!

I am still alive! Our camp turned out to be a little better than we first expected. the girls where able to learn their whole routine that we had made up for them and I think they will be able to do it all successfully in a month or two.. Today Kelsie, Vonda, and I left our scary hotel at 3: 15 AM this morning. Vonda had to catch a plane to Spokane WA at 5:30 and so she needed to be there at 4:30 and we were an hour away! After Kelsie and I dropped Vonda off we drove about ten minutes to the office, parked the car and slept in the car from 4:45 till 8! It was an interesting morning to say the lest. After sleeping in the car we hung out at Wallyworld for a bit then we headed back to the launder mat.
Then we had a two hour drive from Fayetteville NC to Monroe NC. It was an easy drive and we made it to our best western! Finally a really hotel! When we got to our room we opened the door and we were so shocked! The coach had come earlier and made us welcome posters and filled the fridge with waters and Gatorade, they made goody bags and everything it was so cool! I'm really excited for this camp it should be a really good one!

We are staying in the dumpy-est hotel I have ever seen! We are out in the middle of no where, in the middle of the woods, in the middle of a field!! Our AC just makes a scary noise, doesn't cool anything, and our beds are like these wood boxes with a foam pad thing (not even a mattress)! I'm pretty sure this place was built in the sixty's and has never been updated or redone!! We do have a TV but i would swear that it's the first TV ever made and it no longer works! The toilet is so close to the wall that you have to pee from the side, and we don't sit we hover and we are not going to shower here! The wall paper is different on each of the 4 walls of our oddly shaped kind of square room! The owner of this lovely motel is a crazy 70 year old lady who walks around in here night gown and knitted footy socks! She also has a mentally retarded son who is approximatly 20 and he roams around and enters without knocking! Its Really really really really scary!! We also experinaced a thunder and lighting storm (even more scary!) And then we see someone run past our window! SO CREEPY! So I just want to say to everyone that I love you, just in case I DIE tonight!

Myrtle Beach was so nice! We had a pretty nice room with a full kitchen and everything, and we were right on the beach! We spent the whole weekend sleeping by the pool and walking on the beach! On Thursday night Jasmine, Kelsie, Vonda, and I went Karaoke-ing! We sang "I love rock and roll"! It was really fun but kind of weird because this random drunk girl decided that she was going to sing with us! So our band name was Helga and the pussycats, because Vonda was being Helga from Russia all day! So other than the really wasted drunk girl it was a great night!
On Friday we walked on the beach, and let me tell you the people watching is PRIME! It was a really nice walk. That night we watched fireworks on the BEACH!! It was crazy! There were so many fireworks going off everywhere! People were setting off fireworks for hours!
It was really cool!
Saturday and Sunday we hung out by the pool and waved jumped in the ocean. On Saturday Vonda and I went to the Karaoke bar again and sang "I'm a Barbi Girl" haha it was really funny!
I had a really great weekend! Myrtle Beach is so nice! Other than some immature drama that I took care of, it was a great time!

Life...

Today was the last day of my Duplin North Carolina camp. I just Found out that I will be for sure spending the 4th of July weekend on Myrtle Beach SC with six other staff members! We had our showcase today and my team did a lot better than I ever expected! But I'm sure excited for the Beach!!
